Business West Grants
Business West on behalf of Enterprise West of England has recently approved Acorn to Oak as an authorised business coaching service, meaning that our clients can now use the grants to pay for our services.
Enterprise West of England and the Business West scale-up hub currently offers two of grants for business coaching:
1. Scale-up grant
These grants are for companies seeking to developing thier leadership skills, expand their management knowledge, and advance their business strategy.
Scale up coaching grants are available to SMEs based in the West of England who are looking to grow or plan to create new jobs within 12 months. Grant payment of £1,000 are available to businesses investing a minimum of £2,500 (excluding VAT) in business coaching or training.
2. High-impact scale up coaching grant
Grant payments of £5,000 are available to successful applicants investing a minimum of £20,000 (excluding VAT) to fund strategic business coaching, leadership development, and management training. Exclusively available for ambitious West of England businesses, with at least two years sustained growth who employ between 7 and 250 people.
Qualifying criteria
In order to qualify, businesses must:
Be based and registered in the West of England LEP (City of Bristol, BANES, North Somerset, or South Gloucestershire).
Be an SME with less than 250 employees.
Have either an annual turnover not exceeding €50m or an annual balance sheet total not exceeding €43m.
